The gas industry seeks to make a leap forward through supply-side reform

This information was obtained from the 26th Member Representatives Conference of the China Industrial Gas Industry Association and the Symposium on the Transformation of the Gas Industry and Reform of the Industry Management System held in Yinchuan, Ningxia from September 7th to 10th, according to a report from the China Chemical Reporter.

From January to October, the added value of the chemical industry increased by 8.4% year-on-year
In October, the added value of the chemical industry increased by 6.8% year-on-year, a decrease of 2.2 percentage points compared to the previous year. Among the main chemical products, ethylene production decreased by 6.3% year-on-year, primary plastics and synthetic rubber production increased by 4.9% and 13.2% respectively, and synthetic fiber production decreased by 3.9%; caustic soda production increased by 13.4%, and soda ash production increased by 5.6%; fertilizer production decreased by 5.3%, with nitrogen fertilizer decreasing by 12.8%, phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer increasing by 12% and 6.2% respectively; pesticide production decreased by 1.6%; rubber tire production increased by 8.6%; and calcium carbide production increased by 5.3%.
